When Lucy finds the heads in her bed and runs screaming, Carol is supposed to have hidden the heads between the moment when they go back to Lucy's room, but she is shown in her bed and stays in view. Unless she went super-fast like Superman, there's no way she could have hidden the props (since it is established that she acted without an accomplice)
