During the premiere of Plan 9 from Outer Space, Tor's son (named Karl in a deleted scene) appears to be a preteen. In fact, Karl Johnson was Edward D. Wood Jr.'s age. As a police officer, Karl supplied the uniforms and police car used in Plan 9 from Outer Space, and played a farmer in it.
