As soon as A.P. Smith boards the ship, he immediately goes to Morella's office and asks for him. Laurie in order to ID him then opens the file cabinet and pulls out an index card containing his photo. But in the file photo, A.P. Smith has on the exact same clothing that he is presently wearing when he walked into the office. It appears that the photo was taken that same day on the set.
