When the group of prisoners including Bartlett is executed, the machine gun is seen to be mounted on the sidecar of a motorcycle with the barrel pointing over the left hand side of the bike, presumably at the prisoners. In the background are a car, one other soldier, some trees and some rising hills.As the last of the shots from the gun ring out, the scene cuts to a long-shot silhouette, again taken from the left hand side of the motorcycle. However, the machine gun, the soldier doing the shooting, the car, the trees and the hills are no longer there, being replaced by three soldiers and the truck.There is also no sign of the prisoners' bodies which should have been there to the left of the motorcycle. (The three soldiers are, in fact, looking to the right hand side of the bike).
