While Roper and his men are trapped in the wash, a Mescalero, with the help of a spotter, fires and walks arrows toward the soldiers. But the bow he is using is clearly a wood and fiberglass straight bow that was popular among archery enthusiasts of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.
