Mrs. Eldredge is said to have dislocated her shoulder; yet a few days later, when Nancy rescues her, she shows no sign of injury: no bandages nor restricted movement. At one point she even raises both her arms, which someone with a dislocated shoulder would be unable to do so soon after the injury.
