A lot of the police cars seen in the film are marked as being from the 3rd Precinct, which was a defunct precinct in lower Manhattan. However, most of the officers are wearing uniforms that indicate they are from the 81st Precinct, which is in the northern Brooklyn neighborhood of Bedford-Stuyversant - and nowhere near the waterfront.
