When Sophie is about to walk, Messer is shown sitting on the floor next to her watching TV. he has his leg out and is wearing shoes but no socks. when Holly comes downstairs to watch Sophie walking, Messer is sitting on the floor again, still wearing shoes but this time has white socks on.
