Aside from having dissimilar hoods on the roller coaster with the radiation suits, Lee VanCleef has no magazine in his little carbine. To launch the isotope rocket he would need something a lot healthier than a 30 cal carbine round, more like a 30-06 from an M-1 like the other soldiers are carrying.
