The Airman guarding the Secure Area fails perform his job correctly. When Daniel goes to refill the coffee maker with water, while working late to decipher the cartouche, the Airman asks for Daniel's identification/authorization after Daniel has left the Secure Area, but not when Daniel reenters. The Airman should have asked for Daniel's Identification/authorization upon trying to re-enter the Secure Area. Additionally, the Airman should not have simply cleared his throat to gain Daniel's attention. He should have stood up and begun with, "Sir, may I see your authority to enter...".
