Dopo aver trovato la pietra verde che emana radiazioni micidiali, un uomo muore, ma la sua voce si palesa alla figlia per mostrarle tutti i mali del mondo derivati dal potere. La struttura del film è a episodi realizzati con grande varietà di stili grafici. A parte il tessuto connettivo, che è pretestuoso, molte storie sono fiacche, nonostante la colonna sonora di Elmer Bernstein e lo sfoggio di effetti speciali, di mirabolanti trovate grafiche e di gigantismo scenografico.
