Il film, che riprende la teoria secondo la quale il mondo sarebbe stato creato da Satana e non da Dio, vede una coppia che, in seguito alla morte del figlio caduto da una finestra, cerca un po' di pace andando a trascorrere un breve periodo di vacanza nei boschi, provando così a recuperare il loro rapporto, caduto in una crisi profonda.
