Un industriale è in difficoltà: ha fabbricato grandi quantità di filo spinato destinato a recintare le proprietà terriere del West, ma gli allevatori non ne vogliono sapere, perché temono che il bestiame possa rimanere ferito. Una giovane intraprendente si offre come piazzista e parte per il West. Un grande allevatore le propone il matrimonio, ma di filo spinato non ne vuol sentir parlare. La donna riuscirà a piazzare la merce persuadendo le mogli dei suoi clienti. Poi sposerà un giovane pioniere dell'automobilismo, che l'ha aiutata nell'impresa.
