Un anziano miliardario, in occasione di una inaugurazione, invita parenti e amici a un viaggio sul suo lussuoso Jumbo. L'aereo è stato arredato, tra l'altro, con preziosi quadri. Proprio per impadronirsi delle tele, il secondo pilota, dopo aver narcotizzato equipaggo e passeggeri, dirotta l'apparecchio. Volando basso per sfuggire ai radar però urta un ostacolo e precipita in mare. Il comandante, ripreso il comando, guida le difficili operazioni di salvataggio.
