R.E. Davis:
[Corwin and R.E. are exploring the basement of the new house. R.E. holds his fuzzy teddy bear and sees a minature rocking chair]
Hey Corwin!
Corwin Davis:
What?
R.E. Davis:
[puts the teddy bear in the rocker]
Look! It's just his size!
Corwin Davis:
Big deal.
[looks behind some large boxes and hears a low growling]
Corwin Davis:
Hey, R.E.! Over here, over here!
[R.E. comes to investigate. The growling gets louder, and...]
Carleton Davis:
[at the top of the staircase, turns on the light]
Find any ghosts, fellas?
R.E. Davis:
Na.
Corwin Davis:
No.
Carleton Davis:
Well, maybe you'll have better luck tomorrow. Come on.
R.E. Davis:
[walks back over to the rocker to get his teddy bear, which is now empty]
Hey! Where'd he go!
Carleton Davis:
Come on, R.E., it's getting late.
R.E. Davis:
But, dad! My fuzzy teddy bear's gone!
Carleton Davis:
Reginald Ernest Davis, MOVE!
[R.E. wimpers, and walks up the stairs]
Carleton Davis:
Come on.
[turns off the light and closes the door. We see the now empty rocker, begin to rock again, by itself]
