Gus:
Hey, that's a really nice ring you got there with the rubies.
Molly:
Oh, this one?
Gus:
Yeah. You mind if I take a look at it?
Molly:
Um, it's got half the stones missing.
Gus:
So they are. But still, it's a really nice ring, and there's plenty of stones still in it.
Molly:
It's my great-aunt's. Was. She had really great taste.
Gus:
She certainly did. It's uh... It's an old Victorian setting. We rarely see these nowadays.
Molly:
[Molly takes off the ring and points it to Gus]
50$.
Gus:
I-I can't... I can't pay that.
Molly:
Well, it's worth at least 50$. I mean, I kind of need the money.
[Gus opening cash drawer]
Gus:
[Gus counting the money]
Here.
Molly:
[Molly takes and counts the money]
200$? No, I said 50$.
Gus:
It's worth more than 50$ and I couldn't possibly pay you less.
Molly:
I've lived here for almost three years. That's two cars, four apartments, three boyfriends and 360,000 strangers, And that is just one of the nicest things that anybody's done for me.
Gus:
I don't know about that.
Molly:
Thank you.
Gus:
Wha... Um, I'm sorry. What was your name again?
Molly:
Molly. I'm Molly. Thanks again.
Gus:
Yeah, yeah, yeah Molly. Have a good day.
Molly:
Yeah, you too.
