Davy was in charge of the jungle hospital as McGregor had her headquarters at Little Baguio, which was another base about four kilometers away. She had thrown herself into her work, with John constantly on her mind, although one never would have known it. The only contact between them was a little monkey John had sent one day by a wounded soldier. He quickly became the pet of the company. We called him Tojo because they looked so much alike.
