For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to sharks. They're the most amazing and mysterious animals on earth. Last year Jeff and I tagged a female great white shark in Hunts Bay, South Africa, and we tracked her as she swam 11000 kilometers in 99 days to northwestern Australia. Despite the potential dangers, the unknown difficulties of the journey and the sheer distance involved, in the end she went back to the place she came from. In the end, she turned around and she went home.
