The person I was talking to is a girl.

Okay, so who is it?
Katie Fitch:
My sister, Hannah.
Ellie Harrison:
Your sister? How come I haven't met her? Where is she, at school?
Katie Fitch:
She's dead. She was seven. I was twelve. I was supposed to be watching her when she went missing. I tried to save her, but she drowned.
Ellie Harrison:
So... sometimes you come out here, and you... see your sister?
Katie Fitch:
Yes. At night, we talk.

Katie Fitch:

Katie Fitch:
No. No, mom and dad would think I'm frahoodled; crazy.
