[the police are closing in on Johnny and Kathleen]
Johnny McQueen:
Kathleen, where are you?
Kathleen Sullivan:
It's all right, Johnny. I'm here.
Kathleen Sullivan:
Is it far?
Johnny McQueen:
It's a long way, Johnny, but I'm coming with you. We're going away together.
[Kathleen pulls a small pistol from her pocket and fires a couple of random shots. The police respond with a hail of gunfire]
