Parker:
Howdy. Hey, uh, is Workly around?
Dane:
Passed away about eight months ago. I'm his nephew. He left me the house in his will.
Parker:
Well, I'm sorry for your loss, son. My name's Parker.
Dane:
I'm Dane.
Parker:
Dane. Nice to meet you. Well.. Eight months. Don't that beat all? You know, uh, he and I were both in Vietnam. We'd share a lot of stories. So, uh, you and your friends doing some work around the grounds?
Dane:
Yeah. Yeah, just getting the place ready.
Parker:
[to Jack whos playing his guitar]
That's mighty fine picking. Well, if you need anything, I'm just a mile or so down here.
Dane:
Thanks. Appreciate it.
Parker:
You know, I don't mean to stick my nose in it, but that plan of yours-- it's never gonna work.
Dane:
[confused]
Sorry?
Parker:
The trap. The tops are too sturdy. They'll walk right over it. What you need are cage traps. I got plenty of them.
Dane:
Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Thanks.
Parker:
Just offering.
