I don't know. I was shaky and dizzy, and I couldn't stand up, so I laid down, and I must have fallen asleep, because when I woke up, the baby was gone. And I thought God had finally listened and taken him back, and it was a miracle, and the only thing I could do was go back to my room, but I swear to you, I never hurt him.
Ellie Harrison:
Listen, it is possible that you did without even realizing it.
Katie Fitch:
No. No, I couldn't have.
Ellie Harrison:
Then who came to that pond and killed that baby? Hmm?
Katie Fitch:
I don't know! Ellie, but it wasn't me!
