So, off back to Devon, are we? I'd have thought that most of the Americans would have gone back home by now. I never even *looked* at another man after my Alfred was shot down.
Peggy Dickinson:
I don't think your Alfred *was* shot down, at all. I reckon he crashed that plane rather than come home to you.
