Tim Tyler:
[with Batwonga savages around them]
Can't we make a dash for it?
Jim Conway:
Well, they'd cut us to pieces in the open. I'd rather take my chances in these rocks.
Lora Lacey:
You don't think much of our chances, do you?
Jim Conway:
Not unless we get help from the outside. I don't know where'd they come from.
Tim Tyler:
I know. The Ivory Patrol.
Jim Conway:
My boy, that's three days ride from here.
Tim Tyler:
No, it's not. Sergeant Gates and some of his men are in a base camp not far from here. I can find 'em.
Jim Conway:
Well, you can't do that, Tim. The jungle's full of Batwongas.
Tim Tyler:
I'll get through somehow, Mr. Conway.
Lora Lacey:
But, Tim...
Tim Tyler:
[grinning]
Don't you worry about me.
[unarmed, rushes off]
