[after finishing sexual intercourse in Pete's patrol car, the Girl lights a cigarette]
I'm glad you called. I've been thinking about you a lot lately.
[she notices the gunshot wound on his chest and tries to get a better look at it, but Pete stops her]
Officer Pete Davis:

Girl in Jeep:
Sorry. Still sensitive, huh? You get shot or something?
Officer Pete Davis:
[after a pause]
It was a fishing accident.
Girl in Jeep:

[she tries to lean in for a kiss but Pete resists]
Girl in Jeep:
Are you all right? 'Cause we can go to a motel, on a nice cozy bed. I mean, if you're having a problem...
Officer Pete Davis:
A problem?
[Pete takes her head in his hands and looks into her eyes]
Officer Pete Davis:
The only problem that I have is sleazy, lowlife whores like you. That's my problem.
[he releases her]
Girl in Jeep:
[appalled and hurt]
What the hell's wrong with you?
Officer Pete Davis:
Get out.
[opens the door]
Girl in Jeep:
I'm not getting out here, asshole!
Officer Pete Davis:
[pushes her off his lap, out of the car, and onto the ground]
Just get the fuck out!
Girl in Jeep:
[shouting]
What are you crazy? I don't even know where the fuck I am!
Officer Pete Davis:
And that's exactly your fucking problem, isn't it? *Isn't it?*
[shuts the door and drives off, abandoning her]
