For 2 years, Kyla has wreaked havoc and destruction on our colony. Many have died. Our homes are in ruins and our children are starving. But, we shall never surrender and we shall never make a deal with the likes of him. At least with Kyla would be a life destined to slavery and misery. Without the crystal we are nothing. It is the soul of our culture. The antithesis of our ways. It's power has guided and protected us since the dawn of time. It's more than a sacred relic or a source or energy. It is as integral to our lives as air and water. If Kyla and his army ever possess it, the entire solar system will be at his mercy. Now, we cannot and will not surrender.
