Penny Dreadful

Ethan Chandler è un esibizionista americano molto abile nell’uso di armi da fuoco, anche per questo viene assunto da Vanessa Ives che gli affida un lavoro notturno. In realtà la donna assieme a Sir Malcolm Murray è coinvolta nella caccia ad una strana creatura che ha rapito la figlia di Sir Malcolm, Mina Murray. Ethan rimane un po’ stranito dagli eventi, ed ha qualche perplessità se continuare o meno con la coppia. Lui è maggiormente interessato a scoprire la natura di questi esseri, si mette così in contatto con il dottor Victor Frankenstein. Victor ha generato una creatura umana dalla mente infantile, Proteo a cui fa da padre, ma che viene ucciso dal suo primogenito, abbandonato da Victor alla nascita, conosce prevalentemente rabbia e odio.
