Megamind & Roxanne's courtship is loosely based on the plot of "Cyrano", and the two women even have the same name. However, in this movie, Cyrano (Megamind) and Christian (Bernard) are actually the same person the entire time, instead of Cyrano simply writing letters to Roxanne on behalf of Christian.
