When Mötley Crüe play their first gig at the Forum in Inglewood, CA, the exterior color of the arena (behind the white columns) is painted blue. The Fabulous Forum was actually painted "California sunset red" at that time and was repainted blue only after Wayne Gretzky was traded to the Los Angeles Kings in the late 80's to early 90's. Furthermore, the band did not perform at the Forum until 1985.
