When the C-47 transports are taking off, the pilot incorrectly advances the white propeller control levers to the full fine pitch setting rather than advancing the black throttle levers to the full/takeoff power setting. Next to the pilots hand you can see the manifold pressure gauge which shows both engines are set for 18 inches of manifold pressure, well below that required for takeoff power in the C-47 which would be around 48 inches.
