On Little Round Top, the 20th Maine repulses the Alabamian's first assault. As they're retreating, one Confederate soldier rises and turns to his right. He does so right in front of the muzzle of another soldier who fires. The blast makes the victim drop to a crouch. If that were a real round, that could have blown the man's head off.
