The name of the album and song was initially called "Shout With the Devil." When Doc was over at Nikki's place, who was living with Lita Ford at the time, they were telling him about strange things happening in the apartment. Just then, a piece of silverware stood up and flew into the ceiling. Doc immediately told Nikki, "There is no more 'Shout With the Devil!'" and the name was eventually changed to "Shout At the Devil."
