Wyatt Earp, ex sceriffo di Dodge City, si è trasferito con i fratelli Virgil e Morgan a Tombstone dove spadroneggia una banda di fuorilegge denominata "I Cowboys". Ben presto si uniscono ai tre anche Doc Hollyday, un pistolero, e la sua donna, Kate. Quando i fuorilegge eliminano lo sceriffo, i fratelli Earp e Doc affrontano "I Cowboys" all'Ok Corral.
