Larry Wilson e Richard Parker, due giovanissimi addetti al computer di una società assicuratrice, sono fieri di una loro scoperta nei tabulati: per un solo sinistro risultano effettuati quattro pagamenti. Sicuri di un premio e forse di una promozione lo dicono al loro principale Bernie Lomax, il quale, dopo i rallegramenti di rito, li invita intanto per un festoso week-end nella sua bella villa in riva al mare. I due ingenui non hanno capito che Lomax è il colpevole dell'imbroglio e sbarcano tutti allegri su un'isola, ma ignorano anche che Lomax ha incaricato un boss malavitoso di eliminarli. Il delinquente, la cui amante lo tradisce con Lomax, decide altrimenti ed incarica un suo scagnozzo di uccidere Lomax invece di Larry e Richard. Il che avviene nella villa, per cui questi ultimi si ritrovano con il morto fra i piedi...
