D’Artagnan è appena arrivato a Parigi per arruolarsi nei moschettieri e si mette subito nei guai con le guardie del cardinale, animate da storica rivalità; lo salvano tre colleghi, Athos, Porthos e Aramis, dei quali diventa amico per la pelle.
